Charizard-GX · Hidden Fates, what to know.
About the Charizard-GX card
Charizard-GX is card 9 of 69 in Hidden Fates, released in August 2019, a Rare Holo GX. It is a Stage 2 Fire-type with 250 HP.
As a Stage 2, it evolves from Charmeleon, which places Charizard-GX deeper in its line and means most collectors hold it alongside the cards it evolves from.

What is Charizard-GX worth?
Charizard-GX is a holo rare, one of the cards that holds Hidden Fates's value. The rarity tier decides most of it, since the same card prints at several tiers with very different prices. In top-grade 1st Edition, Hidden Fates holos range from the mid hundreds for the lesser cards up to the set's marquee chase; raw and Unlimited copies trade for a fraction of that. The live market price above shows the current figure by grade.
Print variants and how to spot them
Confirm the print and finish on Charizard-GX before pricing it, since variant and rarity set the market more than the card name alone.
Grading and condition
Charizard-GX lives and dies on its holo surface in grading. The fire foil catches light at angles that hide hairlines in a flat photo, so tilt it under a lamp, then measure the borders, where modern centering is the second-most-common grade cap.
If you are collecting Charizard-GX
If you are buying Charizard-GX, work in order: confirm the print variant first, then the grade, then price against recent sales for that exact variant and grade. Price the Charizard-GX against the population report, since modern holo supply is large.
