As a Basic Pokémon, Dreepy needs no prior evolution to put into play, which made it a practical card in the era's decks.

The card's flavor text gives Dreepy a line of lore: "It has a habit of biting at Clauncher even though it doesn’t feed on them. This is said to be vestigial behavior from when Dreepy was alive."
What is Dreepy worth?
