Numbered 49 of 111 in Neo Genesis, released in December 2000, Skiploom is an Uncommon, a Stage 1 Grass-type carrying 60 HP.
It evolves from Hoppip, so Skiploom is a later-stage card that set-builders usually slot into a full evolution run rather than buy alone.
Illustrated by Atsuko Nishida. Nishida is the original designer of Pikachu and many Gen 1 Pokémon, and her card work has a soft, rounded warmth that suits the friendlier creatures.
Printed on the card, the Skiploom Pokédex entry reads: "The bloom on top of its head opens and closes as the temperature fluctuates up and down."
