Dustox · Ascended Heroes, what to know.
About the Dustox card
Dustox is card 220 of 250 in Ascended Heroes, released in April 2026, an Illustration Rare. It is a Stage 2 Grass-type with 140 HP.
As a Stage 2, it evolves from Cascoon, which places Dustox deeper in its line and means most collectors hold it alongside the cards it evolves from.
Illustrated by IKEDA Saki.
The Pokédex entry printed on Dustox reads: "A nocturnal Pokémon. Drawn by streetlights, they messily eat the leaves of trees lining boulevards."
What is Dustox worth?
Dustox is a holo rare, one of the cards that holds Ascended Heroes's value. The rarity tier decides most of it, since the same card prints at several tiers with very different prices. In top-grade 1st Edition, Ascended Heroes holos range from the mid hundreds for the lesser cards up to the set's marquee chase; raw and Unlimited copies trade for a fraction of that. Print variants and how to spot them
Confirm the print and finish on Dustox before pricing it, since variant and rarity set the market more than the card name alone.
Grading and condition
On a holo like Dustox, surface is the grade cap. The grass foil shows hairlines under raking light, and the print reveals scratches that flat scans miss. Centering on the left and right borders is the second thing to check.
If you are collecting Dustox
If you are buying Dustox, work in order: confirm the print variant first, then the grade, then price against recent sales for that exact variant and grade. Price the Dustox against the population report, since modern holo supply is large.
